ZEA Crystals

ZEA Crystals Logo

ZEA Crystals came to fruition October of 2021. With the hard work of two bestfriends, they built ZEA off an existing business "De La Tierra Co" and before that, "CFBeyond". You may be wondering, what does ZEA even stand for? Well, if there's anything you know about Tiffany, know that she is a total nerd. She got the idea to use elven words since she plays as a wood elf on Skyrim (her second all-time favorite game). ZEA actually translates to "Crystal" in elven! Not only that, it worked fantastically as Ziarnick Escamilla Association (Both Tiffany's and Crystal's Maiden Names).

It's been a long journey for ZEA but we're so excited it's all coming together.

Some goals we have for the future include, but are not limited to:

- Website fully updated of all crystal extraction locations

- Opening a store front

- Website jam packed with everything you need to know about Crystals

- Pop Up's 1x a month

- Group rockhounding trips

If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see ZEA bring in the future, please let us know

Hello, my name is Tiffany Maria Treadway. My interests include, but are not limited to: Baking, Geology, Gemology, Astronomy, Aerospace Engineering, and Business. I was born in Bellflower, California on November 29, 1996. My parents moved to Lancaster when I was about 1 year old, so to me, Lancaster is my hometown. Here is where I believe my love for aerospace developed. Lockheed Martin's testing site is located very close to Lancaster, so about every other week you would experience a sonic boom of rockets in the distance, or even see jets zoom across the sky. Another reason for my love of aerospace and astronomy, I believe, is my parents. They would lay a blanket in our backyard and lay down with me to watch the stars at night. Those nights were and will always be very special to me.

We lived in Lancaster until I was about 14. We then moved to Sacramento, where I spent my high school years. I went to a new High School and had no problem adjusting to my new life. I loved the change of atmosphere and quickly made friends. I was also part of the leadership program my high school had offered and made plenty of friends there as well.

One of my friends introduced me to the color guard team at high school and I fell in love! I made all my friends through the color guard team as well as the band. We played in many shows and won the championship 3 years in a row.

High school color guard is how I met my husband. He was in the drumline and it was love at first sight. We've been together ever since and got married on March 7, 2021.

Growing up, I've also always had a passion for business. On our yearly trips to Mexico, I would ask my cousin to help me set up a table in front of the house to help me sell rocks to pedestrians. Silly, I know, but I've always had so much fun with it. It then progressed into baking cupcakes and cake pops and selling them at school. My friends were always a huge support and I was able to sell out of both items every single day. Once I graduated from high school, I decided to minimize my closet and begin selling my clothes online. I then moved on to things around my room I planned to not display anymore. One of those items was a beautiful piece of amethyst. I'm not quite sure what drove me to sell it, but when I posted it, I noticed a market for it right away. With the money I earned from selling my clothes, I used it to buy a few more crystals. A few crystals turned into a few hundred, and a few hundred turned into a few thousand crystals! The business grew quickly, but I was still in college at the time. I felt that my business had consumed me and felt it was best in that moment to stop and refocus on school again.

Skip ahead a few years to 2021, when I have successfully relaunched my crystal business with my bestfriend Crystal. Together we have been so excited to learn and grow!
